The College is situated at Ajitbas Colony on the Islalmpur – Siliguri 31 National Highway. The College campus with its imposing two Buildings viz, Humanities building and Science building, Boys Hostel and spacious green fields presents a unique view.
At present, the College has flourished as a full-fledged degree College with all the three streams of education viz, Arts, Commerce and Science. Now, the College offers general courses in all streams. Honors Courses are offered in six arts subjects i.e. History, Pol-Science, Bengali, English, Philosophy, Urdu, Geography and Accountancy and Mathematics in Commerce and Science respectively. Students from the entire Sub-divison and even from the adjoining Kishanganj and Purnia districts of Bihar and also from Darjeeling district of West Bengal are found getting admissions regularly in the College. The College is spreading education and Knowledge among the Students irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The College also takes care to develop moral values, Physical and cultural excellences among the students through its N. C .C, N. S .S. and other regular Co-curricular activities.
Student are to produce the fee book after admission, to the librarian for a library card. This card is issued by the librarian. Books are to be returned within specified period mentioned at the time of issue. Delay in returning, loss or damage (mutilation, tampering and scribbling etc.) of library books / journals will incur heavy penalty which besides the pecuniary one, may include expulsion from the college or legal prosecution.
STUDENT’S HOSTEL
The college has its own Students’ Hostel for S.C./S.T. students only with a capacity of 20 seats. S.C./S.T. Students seeking admission in the hostel are required to contact with the Hostel Superintendent as appointed by the college authority from amongst the teachers of the college
SCIENCE ARTS LAB
The college has well equipped laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Geography.
